Outdoor Activities for Babies and Kids
When the weather is fine it is nice to just get outside, get some fresh air and give you and your baby an opportunity to do some new activities.
The Blue Clam
Remember the blue clam, that blue plastic tub with two sides to it, that you could fill with sand and water, well they still sell them and kids still love them. So for around $25 they are a great way to have some outdoors fun.
The Park
It doesn’t matter how young your baby is, they will enjoy getting outside and looking around. As soon as your baby can sit they can try out the baby swing. Or simply put them on your lap and swing away whilst you watch the world go round.
Bubbles
Buy a bubble kit and get outside and watch your baby be fascinated by these beautiful floating shapes.
Kite
Buy a kite and tie it to either you or your babies wrist and watch how they delight at watching it fly. For older kids, get out into a park or big open space, and have fun running around and seeing how high you can get your kite to go.
Treasure Hunt
Write a list of items that each child needs to find. Give them the lists, set a time limit and let them go.
